Iftikhar Ahmed of Multan Sultans scored the fastest half-century in PSL.

In the 21st match of PSL 9, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Multan Sultans by 4 runs after a thrilling match, Iftikhar Ahmed's innings of 60 runs off 27 balls could not save Multan from defeat.

Iftikhar Ahmed hit 5 sixes and 4 fours in his innings but could not lead his team to success.

The aggressive batsman needed 48 runs off 18 balls when he started his batting charge, hitting two sixes in one over from Aamir Jamal.

Iftikhar Ahmed's bat charge was also insufficient for Multan Sultans and Zalmi won the match by 4 runs.

Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam was declared the best player of the match for playing an innings of 64 runs.

It should be noted that Multan Sultans have already qualified for the Super Four stage, while the other five teams are competing for Super Four stage.
