Rawalpindi: Unknown thieves broke the locks of the house and stole 28 tolas of gold, about Rs.56 lakh and prize bonds of Rs.07 lakh.

According to the details, a burglary took place in a private housing society phase 8 in the Rawat area of ​​Rawalpindi, in which unknown thieves broke the locks of the house and escaped with 28 tolas of gold and looted about 56 lakhs.

Police sources said that Rs.03 lakh in cash and Rs.07 lakh in prize bonds were also stolen.

Muhammad Munir applied to the police for action, after which Rawat police station registered a case and started investigation.

It should be remembered that in January of this year, there were reported incidents of robbery in a housing society in the limits of Arup police station of Gujranwala, in which the robbers escaped after stealing gold and cash worth 2.5 crore rupees from 2 houses.

According to the police, the robbers took two Kandan hostages at gunpoint and looted more than 100 tolas of gold, 2 million rupees in cash and valuable watches.
