The Sunni Ittehad Council has finalized the name of the opposition leader


Islamabad: The Sunni Ittehad Council has decided the opposition leader in the National Assembly.

According to the sources, Sunni Unity Council has decided to make Omar Ayub the leader of the opposition.

Umar Ayub was also the candidate of Sunni Ittehad Council in the election of the Prime Minister while he is also the Central General Secretary of Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Earlier on Sunday, after the speech of newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Speaker Ayaz Sadiq invited Umar Ayub to address the National Assembly session, then the state TV stopped broadcasting as soon as his speech started. During his speech, slogans of Ghari Chor were also raised in the House.

Umar Ayub said that I am thankful to Allah for giving me the opportunity to contest the elections for the Prime Ministership. Shame will be seen, the faces of those sitting here are withered.
