Quetta: After heavy rains in Balochistan province, the situation has become very bad, various highways and connecting roads are closed, while in Gwadar city water could not be extracted even after 5 days.

According to the details, the stormy rains in Balochistan have disrupted the life system, people are facing severe problems, especially the situation has worsened in Gwadar, where relief operations are also ongoing.

Snowfall continues on the mountains in Kozhak Top, Chaman, Toba Achakzai, traffic of large vehicles has been stopped due to heavy snowfall on Kozhak Top on Quetta Chaman Highway. While NDMA issued another warning of heavy rains in the country.

Fresh spell of rains during March 5-7 may affect Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, Upper and South Punjab. Meanwhile, rains are also expected in North-West Sindh. Turbat, Gwadar, Kech, Chagai, Mastung, Pashin and Qila Abdullah areas of Balochistan may be affected, NDMA has issued instructions to all concerned agencies.
