Sher Afzal Marwat waved the shoe in the National Assembly

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat waved a shoe during the opening session of the National Assembly.

Before the election of the new Speaker and Deputy Speaker, the newly elected members of the Sunni Ittehad Council protested in front of the Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf. Meanwhile, Sher Afzal Marwat waved the shoe.

Raja Pervaiz Ashraf expressed his displeasure at this and said that it is a big mistake that they are waving their shoes in the honorable house, where are Asad Qaiser and Umar Ayub Sahib? All the members are requested to attend the seats.

Despite the Speaker's prohibition, members of the Sunni Ittehad Council protested and shouted slogans against the opposition. Opposition members also raised slogans against him.

After the election of the new Speaker, Sher Afzal Marwat said that the process of electing the Speaker and Deputy Speaker was done in the House, Ayaz Sadiq took over the position of Speaker, our position was that strangers are sitting in the Assembly.

He said that 225 seats are created with our reserved seats, we will challenge. The Speaker did not give the rolling despite our protests. The Speaker should have delayed but he was in a hurry.

He said that the sole aim of all parties should be the welfare of the people. Tomorrow we will protest from Liaquat Bagh to Parliament.
