PSL 9: Peshawar Zalmi set Multan Sultans a target of 205 runs

In the 21st match of PSL 9, Peshawar Zalmi gave Multan Sultans a target of 205 runs to win.

In the match being played in Rawalpindi, Peshawar Zalmi scored 204 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the allotted overs and gave Sultans a target of 205 runs to win.

Captain Babar Azam played a brilliant innings of 64 runs, Saeem Ayub also stood out by scoring 46 runs.

Tom Koehler Cade Moore was dismissed for 5 runs, Haseebullah Khan scored 31 runs and gave the wicket to Jordan.

Roman Powell scored 23 runs while Amir Jamal remained not out with 12 runs.

On behalf of Sultans, Osama Mir guided three players to the pavilion, Chris Jordan took two wickets.

Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam won the toss and invited Mohammad Rizwan XI to bat first.

Peshawar Zalmi has returned Haseebullah, Asif Ali, Naveen-ul-Haq to the team while Mehran Mumtaz is making his debut.

David Mullan has been included in Multan Sultans team instead of Usman Khan, Aftab Ibrahim is also included in the team.

Multan Sultans have won 6 matches out of 7 and made it to the final four.

In the head-to-head matches, Multan Sultans have won 10 out of 14 matches, Zalmi defeated Multan by 5 runs in the first leg.
