PPP's Sarfaraz Bugti elected Chief Minister of Balochistan

Quetta: PPP's Sarfraz Bugti was elected as the Chief Minister of Balochistan. Sarfaraz Bugti needed 33 votes for a simple majority, but he got 41 votes.

According to the details, Sarfraz Bugti of PPP was elected as the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti was voted by 41 assembly members.

JUI members did not participate in the meeting while National Party members also did not participate in the poll.

Only Sarfraz Bugti had submitted nomination papers for the Chief Minister, 33 votes were required to be elected as the Leader of the House, but Sarfraz Bugti got 41 votes.

Earlier, Balochistan Chief Minister nominee Mir Sarfaraz Ahmad Bugti had met the National Party chief and members of the assembly.

In the meeting, the political and overall situation of Balochistan was discussed.
