Multan Sultans defeated Karachi Kings

Multan Sultans defeated Karachi Kings by 20 runs in the nineteenth match of PSL 9.

In the nineteenth match of PSL 9 being played at the National Stadium Karachi, Multan captain Muhammad Rizwan won the toss and preferred to bat first.

On behalf of Multan, Usman Khan scored a century while batting brilliantly and remained not out by scoring 106 runs. His innings included 5 towering sixes and 10 fours.

He played a key role in leading the team to a big score by establishing a partnership of 148 runs for the second wicket along with captain Mohammad Rizwan. Sultans scored 189 runs for 3 wickets in the allotted overs.

Captain Rizwan scored 58 runs with the help of 5 fours while Reza Hendricks scored 13 runs and Iftikhar Ahmad scored 4 runs. Khushdal Shah remained not out with 6 runs. Mazrabani took 2 wickets and Hasan Ali took 1 wicket for Karachi Kings.

In pursuit of the target, the Kings batsmen could not settle down and were restricted to 165 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted overs. None of the Kings' batsmen could score a half-century.

Veteran Shoaib Malik scored 38 runs and captain Shan Masood scored 36 runs.

2 changes have been made in the Karachi Kings team, fast bowler Mirhamza and batsman Luc de Ploy have returned to the team.

Karachi Kings HBL is ready for a comeback in PSL Nine. The Lions did some batting, bowling and fielding exercises to get back to the fold. Fast bowler Hasan Ali says that the match went too close and now they will defeat Multan.

Both the teams have equal records in the head-to-head matches. Both have won 6, 6 matches out of twelve. Sultans won by fifty-five runs in the first league match.
