Israel placed a new condition in front of Hamas

Israel says there will be no further ceasefire talks until Hamas provides a list of living prisoners.

Israel has told mediators Egypt and Qatar that it will not move forward with ceasefire talks until Hamas sends it a list of Israeli prisoners still alive in Gaza.

This was reported by Israel's Walla news site, citing a senior Israeli official.

The official said that Israel has received information from Hamas regarding the number of Palestinian prisoners "”Serious response” is also being sought, which he is requesting to be released as part of a possible deal.

Hamas has said that 7 prisoners were killed in the Israeli bombing of Gaza.

Hamas's armed wing, the al-Qassam Brigades, announced that it had confirmed reports that it had lost contact with the hostage-taking fighters after an investigation carried out over the past few weeks.

It was not immediately clear when the seven died.

Israeli attacks in Gaza have resulted in the deaths of several prisoners, including three who were shot by Israeli forces.
