Federal Cabinet meeting: Possibility of approving the establishment of a commission to inquire into the allegations of judges

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet will meet today, in which approval will be given to set up a commission to inquire into the allegations against the judges of the Islamabad High Court.

According to the details, the meeting of the federal cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will be held at 12 noon. In the cabinet meeting, the issue of the letter of the judges of the Islamabad High Court will be considered and the establishment of a commission to inquire into these allegations will be approved.

In the cabinet meeting, the agenda of the federal cabinet meeting will be 5 points, the cabinet meeting will be held on zoom where most of the ministers will participate online.

It should be remembered that the federal government had announced the formation of an inquiry commission based on the letter written by six judges of the Islamabad High Court.

Prime Minister Nazir Tarar said in a press conference that a commission should be formed on the letter and a neutral retired personality should prepare a report on it. The inquiry will be entrusted to a judicial personality.
