Did Dhoni participate in the demonstration to express solidarity with the farmers?

There were reports regarding former captain Dhoni that he had come to stand in solidarity with the Indian farmers in their protest against the Modi government.

However, such reports have now been denied. Recently, a picture of the Chennai Super Kings captain went viral on social media in which he can be seen standing with a man wearing a Sikh turban.

The picture is being linked to the ongoing farmers' protest with claims that the Ranchi-born cricketer visited the gurudwara to show solidarity with farmers protesting against the Modi government.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is very fond of farming and often expresses his love for this activity by growing fruits in his farmhouse. So people thought that they were on the side of farmers.

However, after research, it has come to light that the picture of Dhoni which is going viral these days is from two years ago.

This photo was actually taken on July 17, 2022 at Central Gurdwara Khalsa Jatha in London. The person seen in the picture is Gurpreet Singh Anand who uploaded the picture on his Instagram handle.

The image that is being widely shared regarding the washing has nothing to do with the farmers' protest.
