Destruction due to rains in Gwadar, rescue and relief operation of Pakistan Army

The rescue and relief operation of Pakistan Army is going on after the floods due to heavy rains on February 27 and 28 in Gwadar.

According to ARY News, Pakistan Army troops are active for rescue and relief operations, General Officer Commanding 44 Division along with Commissioner Makran Division and Deputy Commissioner Gwadar made a detailed visit to Gwadar City and Sarbandar.

On this occasion, he reviewed the relief activities of the army and civilian administration and assured the local population of all possible cooperation of the army.

At present, Pakistan Army personnel are engaged in relief operations in and around Gwadar, Jeoni and Surbandar, the trapped villagers of Rohbar, Printok and Sarbanki villages have been evacuated to safety.

Army has installed suction pumps to remove water from flooded areas and houses, cooked food and dry rations are being distributed to the displaced civilians.

Tents and mats are also being provided to the displaced population while the local population is appreciating the efforts of the Pakistan Army.
