Arjun Kapoor explains why he became a villain in 'Singham Again'


Bollywood's famous actor Arjun Kapoor explained the reason behind playing the role of villain in 'Singham Again'.

After leading Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and action hero Tiger Sheriff, Rohit Shetty has made a part of his 'Police Universe' through Arjun Kapoor's 'Singham Again'. Earlier, the makers have released the glimpse of the third film of the blockbuster franchise in which Arjun Kapoor is seen as the villain.

While sharing the poster of the role of 'Shaitan' on social media platform Instagram, the director wrote that “Man makes mistakes and gets punished for it, but what will come now is Shaitan.”

However, now Arjun Kapoor has opened up about his villain role in 'Singham Again'.

Arjun Kapoor thanked Aditya Chopra and Rohit Shetty and said that they chose me to play the negative role in the film 'Singham Again'.

He said that I started my career in the industry with the film 'Ishqzaade'. What about negative roles like 'Aurangzeb' and after all these roles here I am and now playing the villain in Singham Again.

The actor said that Aditya Chopra and Rohit Shetty have always helped me in my film career and they believe that I can surprise people by playing a villain in their film Singham Again.

Arjun said, “I always want to experiment on screen and show something different to the audience, so it was a thrilling opportunity for me to play the role of a police nemesis in Singham Again.”

He said, “I got a lot of love playing negative roles early in my career and I want to play the same but even better role with this film.”
